I’m sure most people have gone on at least one god awful date, but this just takes the cake. Peter Shankman recently posted a blog entry about one Mr. Darren Sherman who just cannot stand rejection. When Mr. Sherman’s date doesn’t call him back for a second date, he decides to get half of his expenses back. Read the blog entry and tell me if your horror stories can match that!

Sherman has made an absolute FOOL of himself! His employer should get rid of him, and the girl should press harrassment charges against him if he doesn’t stop his continued harrassment of her. He is in the wrong, and his ego and his over-rated opinion of himself need to be deflated!

If you read comments written on the PR:Differently website this comes from, there seems to be much debate on what is socially responsible dating behaviour for men and women. What I find interesting is that each person treats the affair as though they were personally involved and know all the ins and outs (Lin, above is a good example of such a reaction). We cant possible know exactly what happened on said date, and while it looks as though Mr Sherman was being over-zealous, it may not be so, simply cant tell. There is reasonable dount as to whether or not she ‘played’ Mr Sherman, and I, for one, refuse to discount the possibility.
